DESIDERATA partners will take part in the 4th IRISS Breakfast Webinar to present how Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) principles are being put into practice across the project’s industrial use cases. The session will feature four presentations covering the breadth of DESIDERATA’s work, from the project’s vision and framework to concrete applications in thermoplastics, nanomaterials, and construction.

The NSC Working Group on Safe and Sustainable by Design, Innovation & Regulation held its second virtual workshop on SSbD scenarios, prepared jointly by DESIDERATA, PLANETS, SSbD4CheM and SUNRISE. More than 50 participants worked through real innovation cases to test how SSbD assessment can be tailored to each one.
