SWOT Workshop on the Implementation of the EC SSbD Framework
Description
The European Commission’s Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) framework promotes the development of safe and sustainable chemicals and materials by embedding SSbD principles into research and innovation. The EU-funded project DESIDERATA is assessing how the framework is perceived — its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats — and is deriving strategies to support its wider implementation and market uptake.
This interactive online workshop builds on a project-internal SWOT analysis and the strategies formulated from it. Interim results will be presented, discussed and validated together with all participants, in a session opened by high-level panellists.
With thanks to the IRISS – International SSbD Community for their support.
Why Attend?
The format is deliberately interactive, so your input shapes the outcome. Take part to help validate the interim SWOT findings, to challenge the proposed strategies, and to hear how other organisations are approaching SSbD implementation.
Relevant for
Researchers, industry professionals, policymakers and anyone working on the implementation of the EC Safe and Sustainable by Design framework.
